Sen Talk has just received a grant of £4095 to support our Big Sensory Integration Project. We are absolutely delighted that we can expand our support service to run monthly Sensory Integration sessions for children and parents and carers. Wandsworth Grant Fund
Sen Talk has just received the award notice from the Wandsworth Grant Fund who will be supporting our newest project The Lego Social Skills Group for children with Attention Deficit Disorders, and it will be launching in March 2017. The Session will be working with groups of 10 children for six weeks, working under the Lego therapy model, children will have the opportunity to develop social skills and peer relationships which will boost their self-esteem and confidence.
Wandsworth Short Breaks Fund
We have been awarded a grant from the Short Breaks team at Wandsworth Council and are so excited to announce we will be running three short breaks for parents, children and siblings on three exciting day trips, with the first trip starting in the Easter Half Term to Legoland Windsor. Sen Talk, will organise the whole event, to make the day as stress free as possible giving the parents and carers that all important respite, and the opportunity to enjoy a family day out without the anxiety that is all too familiar to families raising children with additional needs.
