Parent Space

In Brief

Sen Talk is committed to empowering parents to enable them to support their children in the best possible way. With thanks to our Awards for all funding from the National Lottery our parent Space projects allow parents to access professional advice and support in a multitude of ways, making our service accessible for many.

Parent Support Plan

Our SEND Advisers can help parents to unpick issues and concerns related to their child through specific support plans generated at 1:1 parent meeting. Advisers can sign post to specialist organisations, help parents to implement change and support with understanding and creating effective resources.

Monthly ASD and ADHD Talks

We offer monthly seminars and talks to parents and carers which are delivered by specialist practitioners from therapeutic, academic and clinical professions bridging the gap between service providers and the public.

SEND Advocacy

Our SEND advocacy service allows parents to access specific support with Education Health and Care Plans, common Local Authority Disputes, Disability Tribunals advice and education mediation.

Monthly ASD and ADHD Coffee Mornings

A free space for parents, carers and family members to meet up, have a coffee and chat and take a load off. These monthly engagement opportunities are vital to peer to peer support, helping families to access information about local services and meet like-minded others.
