As you may be aware, we recently made the decision to reduce our service this week and have implemented some restrictions to prevent the possible spread of the coronavirus to protect vulnerable service users. We had intended to run our children’s service for as long as possible, in a safe way so that children and families were protected and able to access support and advice.
However, due to Governmental advice discouraging non-essential travel, we have decided that this week will be our last week of face-to face sessions for all our services until further notice. This will mean that all face-to-face activities will not go ahead as planned. We understand this may cause disappointment for those who have made prior bookings for any of our events and we will be issuing refunds for all our scheduled activities through the third-party booking site Eventbrite. We have been advised that this should be made available within the next 7 working days.
Children registered with clubs
For many of our children we understand this will likely cause upset and confusion and for this reason we will also continue to support families in a variety of ways during these uncertain times, please see information below:
Children’s packs and E-Resources
The Children’s project team have put together physical resources, activities and social stories to support children. These will be distributed during the last sessions this week. The team will send out regular e-resources during each week to support children at home.
Phone service
There will be a service phone line open to families for support, advice and guidance for children registered at our clubs. You can access this service Mon- Friday 10am-3pm from Monday 23rd March- please call 07719304682 to speak with the team.
Specific support for parents and carers
Parents can request any specific support by emailing Annaliese directly at annaliese@sentalk.org and support can be provided either online or over the phone.
If you have any questions, or would like further information please get in touch via email info@sentalk.org or our office phone 020 7223 1694
